A Man of Restoration
This is my dear friend Jeff Sellers. By day he runs an auto body repair shop. His passion is to take wrecked cars and make them new again. He restores what has been lost or destroyed and he’s very good at whatever puts his hand to. But that isn’t all that Jeff does. He’s my right hand man at Big World Project. Jeff has a compassionate heart that pours over people.
He can’t bear the thought of children sleeping on concrete trying to survive on the streets of a megalopolis. He wears a shirt with the formula for CONCRETE as a reminder that no child’s mattress should be cement. He calculates and dreams of new ways to reach more children and establish new businesses.
How can we turn plastic garbage into money to support the work of Word in Action, a ministry doing a great job rescuing street kids?
He prays over a man suffering leprosy and touches him with the love of Christ. I wish everyone could meet Jeff Sellers. Restoration is his MO and his holy burn is to see lives restored by Jesus.
I love Jeff Sellers. I love his laughter, burden, eternal focus, tender-hearted compassions, humility, and his servant’s heart that is willing to do anything for the Kingdom of God. As I write this about my friend I feel two frustrations. First, I wish you all could meet this man of God. Second, I wish I could adequately thank you and show you all the ways your support is RESTORING lives; giving thousands of once homeless, hopeless children hope-filled futures. I have no doubt you would share a most beautiful kindred spirit with Jeff.
